Maintenance Manager in Charleston, South Carolina For Sale

RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, manage, and coordinate activies for staff of 6-8 at manufacturing facility. Responsibile for building maintenance, forklift fleet and production equipment maintenance. Be technically proficient on facility and equipment (includes forklift fleet) Ability to read/confirm engineering prints Develop and maintain metrics for equipment, processes and people Develop and maintain critical parts inventory Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance program Monitor maintenance costs. Life cycle costing of equipment Purchase of maintenance materials/tools (with support from purchasing) Inventory controls by location (maintenance parts/supplies) Create and maintain recordkeeping on maintenance activities (by activity, equipment, or parts, etc.) Building maintenance - maintain production buildings. Conduct training on specific topic to your reports and/or other employees Create and utilize visual assignment/schedule board Assure timeliness of repairs. EXPERIENCE: Previous manufacuring and equipment maintenance experience with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership and organizational skills required. Electrical wiring and PLC experience a plus. Computer skills a must
