Basic Qualifications For Consideration
Do you have experience authoring or approving weight and balance manuals/documents for regulatory requirements?
Do you have experience estimating and measuring the weight of completed airframes or space vehicles?
Are you willing to work second and/or third shifts, as required to support flight line operations?
Are you willing to work weekends, as required to support flight line operations?
Typical Education/Experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced level Mass Properties Engineer to support the 787 Program at the South Carolina Flightline and Delivery Center. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to flight safety, a passion for aerospace, an emphasis on teamwork, outstanding interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a demanding, high visibility environment. Experience with Catia and Enovia preferred. Some primarily domestic travel will be required.
